Deck Description

The idea of this deck is to cascade into Hypergenesis (the only card in the deck that has a CMC lower than 3). Hypergenesis is a double edged sword. Even though you get free creatures, so does your opponent. To minimize this risk, all the creatures included have haste (or in the case of Magister Sphinx, the equivalent of 10 damage to the head). This deck should consistently go off turn 3 or 4 with Demonic Dread, Violent Outburst and Bloodbraid Elf allowing you to cascade into Hypergenesis. By dumping all your hasty creatures T3 or T4, you'll likely deal lethal damage the turn they come in. The only way your opponent can survive is if they dump blockers to stop your assault. Thaximundar allows you to deal with single creatures easily, while Thundermaw Hellkite taps all flyers when he enters the battlefield. Many of the other creatures also fly, so if you're able to dump the right amount you can get in unblockable lethal damage.

Have you considered novablast wurm? it's great, also.. there's phyrexian ingester you can use to exile other creatures and make him massive buff.

Novablast is cool for sure and he'd be good to take out any opposing threats that your opponent gets from Hypergenesis. The only thing is I'm trying to stick with Hasty creatures to ensure that I'm dealing all my damage before my opponent gets to attack. Same with Ingester, he's awesome removal for this, but I'd probably go with Angel of Serenity sooner. I just need to get a copy for cheap, she's still too expensive for now. I was also toying with the idea of adding Simian Spiritguide and Elvish Spiritguide, but I'm hard-pressed on slots. Any ideas?

Put an emrakul in. Also, what you could do is cascade into genesis with violent outburst on your opponent's turn so that any non hasty creatures you put in will be able to attack right away. With the massive creatures, loosing out on that extra point isn't much of a threat. Plus the annihilator from the eldrazi will help get rid of the cards your opponent gets to cheat in.
