I don't want to be stuck without the right mana for render silent. Plus, I think syncopate is better.

Yes. I forgot to add that to the the name
I would suggest Intangible Virtues which gives all creature tokens +1/+1 and vigilance. Parallel lives which doubles the tokens coming into play. Call of the Conclave which is a 2 cost and puts a 3/3 centaur in to populate off of. Also, you are very weak against flying so Midnight Haunting would help, it's a 2 cost and puts 2 1/1 spirit tokens with flying in to the field. I started my populate deck very similar to this one and it proved to be too slow.
