I personally love playing U/B and i wanted to test around with Laboratory Maniac. I might not have as much experience with some cards, but i still like making decks and having an opportunity to share my idea with others. Suggstions are very appreciated!
Play the deck as the name suggests. You want to draw as fast as possible since removal is low in favor of drawing. Most turns your goal is to just draw as many cards as you can even if you have to discard. Some of the drawing cards such as Compulsive Research and Careful Consideration help you to discard some cards along the way, and visions of beyond takes advantage of you throwing away cards. The creatures in the deck are mostly for utility, Psychic Membrane for the draw and blocking, Jace and Baral just because of their synergy with instants and discarding. Archmage Ascension will help you search for essential cards such as Maniac and Cyclonic Rifts so stall. It is important to get it out as soon as you can and each turn your drawing will eventual[y pop it off.
