Nearearth Stalker is only in there, because it is nice with Flayer of the Hatebound.. sadly too expensive.. Thanks for suggesting Murderous Redcap.. I'll give it a shot.

This deck is still waaaay to slow for my liking. Potent in 2 headed giant, but really weak on its own in 1 vs 1. Any suggestions how to speed it up without loosing the general idea?

To me this deck feels a bit slow. Sun Titan, True Conviction and Coat of Arms all are way to expensive for my liking, especially when you can win on turn 4.

I'd add 2 more Preeminent Captain and 4 of each Ballyrush Banneret and Captain of the Watch, maybe some Champion of the Parish. Brave the Elements is also very strong (saved my game so many times)....

I'm talking about something more like this: http://www.mtgvault.com/tzirrit/decks/odric-and-friends/

Thanks :)

You made a good point - more control until I have a few vital cards on the table could be all I need.

How did I muss Journey to Nowhere?! I'm gonna swap Pacifism out for it! I'd also add Raise the Alarm (not sure, what has to go for it) and will probably swap Angelic Wall with Wall of Omens or Wall of Resistance..

D'oh, didn't think of that. Thanks for pointing it out. Safe passage looks good, also added wall of hope.

As far as I understand it, protection from black saves them from pestilence, since it is a targeted ability that does a specifit amount of damage: "deal X damage to any creature and player" -> protection from black negates that
