Artifact decks were always my favorite, so some of the cards in this deck hold some sentimental value for me. My goal for this deck was a colorless artifact deck, that isn't overly complicated to play. (Avoiding counters and token...)
The overall goal is to get out artifacts, as most creatures scale with the number and converted mana cost of artifacts.Try to get out as many cheap artifacts as possible (0 mana Creatures, Cranial, Artifact Lands, Affinity Cards)Put equipment on to create some ridiculous heavy hitters.Synergies explained:* Affinity for artifacts: Given most cards in the deck are artifacts, Frogmite, Salamander and the Mycosynth Golem can be placed fast* Once the Mycosynth Golem is in the game, every artifact creature has affinity for artifacts, so you can place even more big hitters immediatly* The Cranial Plating and Nettlecyst scale with artifacts, getting big very fast* The Hedron Matrix works best with the Salamander, Mycosynth Golem and the Darksteel Colossus, given their high mana value.* Inventors fair if you are desperate for a certain artifact* Sanctum of ugin lets you search for specific artifact creatures, usable as early you placed a Myr Enforcer, so you can seach for the Mycosynth golem.* use black mana for attaching the cranial plating mid battle* All is dust can trigger Sanctum of Ugin too* Feel free to discard the Salamander, if you are missing out on artifact lands.Notes:* Obviously a Blightsteel Colossus might be better instead of Darksteel Colossus, but I don't own it and also I don't want to hassle with the counters.Let me know what you think!
