This was the first limited deck I created for the Gatecrash prerelease event. I won 7/12 games with this deck, winning 2-1 against a Simic deck, losing 0-2 to another Dimir deck and losing 2-1 to a Boros deck (I put up a great game with that round). I was aiming at milling mostly, keeping my opponent's resources very very low while I beat them down with smaller creatures and take advantage of the cipher mechanics. The contaminated grounds were great at controller what my opponent could cast and at what cost. I will be building a constructed deck based off of this.
Take some damage early on, stall in the beginning with a few 2/2s and then later mill like crazy and pump the hell out of consuming aberration, all while reducing what the opponent is able to play each turn. Undercity plague ciphered onto an unblockable creature will gradually wipe down the opponent's board little by little.
