Deck discussion for Vampire Deck

Hmm... This look like standard format Vamps. SO.

-2 Bloodcrazed Initiate. Stromkirk Noble is alot faster, and much more of a bigger threat.
-2 Rakish Heir. Ehhh. Stromkirk Captain is better effect, and fits right in with mana sources.
-4 Falkenrath Noble. Expensive attacking Blood Artist. Blood Artist serves alot faster. He's so good.
-2 Falkenrath Marauders. It's good, but it's often a dead draw if in opening hand. You can keep it if you'd like.
-2 Bloodline Keeper. I LOVE him, but not too much cause he clogs my hand much like marauders. Quick drops are always nice, but Keeper's a good lord.
-2 Blasphemous Act. It's funny. I've played it in my Doll deck, but In vamps? Not QUITE as viable~

That being said!

You wanna be sitting around 60 cards total for the deck, so you can adjust accordingly.
After all, this is your deck.

+2 Stromkirk Noble. Very awesome effect, and a one dropper. Gets huge quick.
+3 Stormkirk Captain. Other Vamps getting first strike and +1/+1? Sign me up!
+2 Vampire Nighthawk. It's almost too good for a three dropper...

Take out two mountains and two Swamps for 4 dragonskulls. It'll help out your mana. Blacleave Cliffs is viable, but it'll rotate out soon...

Also see if you can Find a slot for Vampire Nocturnus by maybe taking out a single blood artist. My favorite Vampire lord, alongside the early Captivating Vampire. The Innistrad block vamps are funny, but they're all so expensive, compared to how I used to run them back in Zendikar era.

Hope this helps you out~

Whoops. Meant Neonate instead of initiate.

I'm super familiar with the more Zendikar ones like Pulse Tracker, my favorite one drop of that era. Vampires have evolved quite a bit since then.

I added the Blasphemous act because my friend made a human token deck... he had out 10 human tokens is 3 turns and a 17/17... so i was looking a a mass aoe kill card and that caught my eye. but i guess my stromkrik noble will help against his humans. I think I wana keep my marauders for some flying defense. So i should only have one Bloodline Keeper in my deck ?
And i saw nocturnus while i was looking but i thought he was a bit of a mana cost creature so i backed out in adding him. But i do like his ability

While Bloodline Keeper is nice, I only found him fun (or at least playable) in standard format at no more than 2. Nocturnus is great, but he is a bit expensive as well. See, you know about the turn 4 mana curve right? That's usually when people start to play consecutive spells. This is consistent in times I got to FNM. People start throwing down, (Let's say they're playing zombies) A Messenger and a Gravecrawler turn 4, and they've got a Diregraf Ghoul already out. Bloodline Keeper generates, but he is the magical four cost. It's important to keep a low cost of (USUALLY) no more than 3-4. Just so that dead draws almost never occur. Your deck is very very playable right now though! I'd take it to a FNM if I'd built this one. While Keeper is another Lord with Nocturnus on CMC, It's mainly Stromkirk Captain that'll be helping you on out against your freinds human deck. You're in luck, as I play against a white humans as well when I do casual play. You're right when Stromkirk Noble will help you on out. For your killspells, you can try some Brimstone Volley, or Tragic Slip. Keeping in mind they have morbid effects, they become very powerful response cards. Let's take a look at that 17/17 should that happen again.

I swing with Champion of the Parish, 17/17.

I block with Nighthawk. (Which you can probably have by then)

OR you can include the killspell Murder in M13, which is 3 CMC.

IF he's very consistent, you can just chump block with a low dropper and work with it next turn. It's just important to get rim of him before he becomes a gargantuan behemoth of a creature.

Now, saying you wanted to add and EXTRA twist, you could try a few Undying Evils to keep your Vampires out on the field for longer. Your Marauders can be replace by the crazy expensive (in $) Falkenrath Aristocrat, and she's one less mana with a somewhat similar effect of flying and haste. With a special indestructible effect.

Very versatile way you can continue with it. I just presented a few options you could try out. But your Vamps are looking even better now. How do you think you'll go with it?

Yeah i was avoiding expensive cards because my limit for my deck is at least 110$ and under. But i would love to have Nocturnous and Aristocrat but they are not in my budget D:

But i added some undying evils i had them in there with bone splinters but i voted against it.

I cant wait to buy these cards and try them out on his deck. Thanks for the help man

I think i am going with it the was it is now and test it out a couple times a maybe tweek it hear and there if i find any problems with my deck
on a side note this was my very first deck i made myself. My very first was a horrible white green deck and with random card that made no sens to the deck it had no flow and no anything. I am proud of what i have made hear and i hope to try it out in tournaments ( thats why i made them from the most resent expansion that will still be active once Ravnica Resorted comes out)
But thanks again for your input!!!!
