Deck Description

alright this deck is a reanimator deck, i guess entomb is no longer restricted so ill put 4 in
turn 1: dark ritual, entomb and search for one of your big creatures preferably something big with haste and then exhume or animate dead to bring it into play and attack if u can.
or
turn 1: dark ritual, buried alive for 3 of ur creatures
turn 2 exhume one of them and there u go

sutured ghoul and the cloudscrapers is good for the second turn example

Deck discussion for turn 1 hellkite overlord or akroma!!!!

playing krosan in this deck is bad idea, cause you cant pay 2 green mana each turn.

i agree krosan is a bad choice

you also might want to put some discard spells into your deck so you can get rid of big creatures that are in your hand

and lastly you will prob want to cut your deck down to 60 cards posibly by cutting the two krosans from your deck but that is your choice

About this deck. It looks interesting. I have never tried a quick combo one turn deck before so this intrigues me greatly. I have alot of these cards so I may give this a shot! Thanks for the great ideas!

In your Ideal turn one.. you draw a single card (Entomb) out of 62 cards? just saying... Turn 1 probably isnt going to darkritual entomb

just a suggestion you might want to throw in one or two sneak attacks, so that your big creatures can attack once before going to the graveyard, and then exhume them, so you effectively summon them for 3 mana (1 red to activate sneak attack and 2 more for exhume)

No Iona, Shield of Emeria, or Blazing Archon? You're pretty ballsy to run that way in a Reanimator.

Nice, I have an Eldrazi Reanimator alot like this one, I would suggest maybe using the card NECROMANCY as well? Its an enchant that returns creatures from GY to play but can be cast as an instant

Turn 1 - Dark Ritual - Entomb, Exhume, Iona, Shield of Emeria turn 1 is pretty funny against mono colored decks
Multicolor decks you can lock them down with a turn 1 - It That Betrays would work.

Personally I love: Skirge Familiar for decks like this
Turn 1: Land, Dark Ritual - Entomb (Skirge Familiar) Exhume
Turn 2: Discard all creatures for 4 or 5 Black mana to the Skirge Familiar, cast Living Death.

Here is my Re-animator deck

I still believe U/B reanimator is the way to go. Backup your reanimates with counter magic.

Look at this, u will realize that there is something far better to reanimate on first turn!

Sorry, but this is a terrible example of a reanimator deck. You have no way to discard your fatties that you draw. Plus there's really no reason for 2 of any creature in this deck, since your main engine of getting them into the graveyard is fetching. Putrid Imp is one of the best creatures for a graveyard based deck in that it's an extremely cheap, efficient way to discard your own fatties that you draw. You have way too many fatties anyway. Take four out and put in the imps. Some black control can't hurt either. Namely, a few discard or creature removal. There's no point to your mountains and islands, they just slow you down. If you actually get to the point where you're hard-casting an eight CMC creature, your deck has failed. Here's mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=125165. It's super budget, but still better. I could easily stack it with much better, more expensive fatties, but I didn't feel like dropping the dough on a casual deck. Even so, it still has a turn 1 kill option. I also made a blue/black version http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=124975, which allows the deck to deal with anti-graveyard pretty well.

I love the reanimate deck ... this one needs some work.

> If you really wanna play a huge monster in 1st turn..
- Krosan is'nt a good choice
- come into play Tapped Lands isn't a good choice too
- You can reduce a big creatures in this deck bcz they're useless
If it's on your oppening hands. and you can find it with Entomb.
Just use a creature that can surely end the game such as

- Inkwell Leviathan
- Emrakul , or something with Annihilator.
- Iona, Shield of Emeria
- Reya, Dawn Bringer
- Kokusho, the Evening star

Put in a good Tutors such as
Demonic tutors or vampiric tutors in the deck to find Emtomb & Exhume.

Put in a black drawing cards such as Night's Whisper

That helps you reduce a chance that you can't find Entomb & Exhune in first 3 turns

Emrakul gets shuffled into your library, and the rest of the legendary eldrazi, but eldrazi are great for this kind of deck.

I think he wants the Ghoul to eat the krosan. If he's sticking with red, I suggest 1 killer spell = FLING

If this was my deck, I'd cut all the creatures down to 1-of's because you have all the means of getting whatever you want, and, if you decide to try it out, you have 6 cards in surplus (provided you minimize the deck to 60) and add a few tutors to the mix, I think it would be pretty brutal =)
