My take on the growing popularity of allies within BFZ. With this deck I tried to make it fluid enough for playing against any kind of deck. Since there are four colors in this just basic lands won't do. The perks of this deck is it doesn't function on the use of just one card and it can work no matter what kind of hand you draw. Of course getting Gideon out early is a huge advantage along with Hero of Goma Fada.
The allies function best if many different kinds are out there and thats why there is not more than two of any type. I typically start out with a Expedition envoy or Kor Bladewhirl, then just add different types of allies so by the time you have 3 or 4, they end up having menace, vigilance, or lifelink so they become pretty dangerous for only being no stronger than 3/3
