Deck discussion for Valakut M12

Why do you have Harrow and Rampant Growth over cultivate?

Rampant is cheaper than cultivate and Harrow allows me to use the new lands immediately, or to trigger Valakut with more force. Its all about feeding the Volcano.

Nice one, props from the creativity and courageous use of cards that you usually won't see in those "standard valakut" decks. I guess M12 brought some really interesting cards for valakut decks.

Thanks. I changed it up a bit, and now it ramps pretty fast. I'm not worried much about counters, even though the deck has no defense against them. When I played this last week in tourney, my opponents rarely had the chance to cast counterspells before i wiped their life clean.

If you want a plan for decks that can counter your creature spells a good idea is to have summoning trap in your sideboard. just a thought if you ever needed it.

I can usually get Primeval out in turn 4, so its not really that necessary.
