Maybe replace it with Heartstone, which will save you a ton of mana, and is relatively cheap.
I personally wouldn't, looks like only 4 creatures benefit from that, most of the activated abilities in this deck are colored mana. It's not a terrible idea, just doesn't seem worth it to me.
The idea is to use it with Olivia to steal vamps and ping stuff on the cheap. With the reduction, 1 red pings a critter, makes it a vamp, and puts a +1/+1 on Olivia (who is now a legit threat for commander damage death). And for 5 mana, you get to steal a critter and juice Olivia.
I know that the WUBRG on the one card is optional.i dont have mana to play itwith its optional cost. I mostly was trying to avoid building the +1/+1 counter version of vampires and my goal was to do trigger off life gain anddeal more damage with life gain triggers. The bringer is just a tutor every upkeep but you’re right so I removed him.
