Yup, there are a lot of good prison cards out there, but so many of them are too expensive to cast. I want to be able to fetch almost everything with Zur, as he kind of serves like birthing pod in this deck, especially post-board (I don't have the board yet but it will have a lot of 1 of's and 2 of's in it). If moat was legal and not 300$, I would play 3-4 of em, but that would be the most expensive enchantment I would run. Modern is too fast.

Eh, I thought about it, and I am not to thrilled with it. This deck has a lot of dual mana symbols, and you need the right mana for each creature or enchantment you cast. So, putting in something that produces colorless mana is not what i'm looking for. Even at a budget of only 80$ for these cards, I have had tremendous sucsess compeating against Jund, Affinity, Scapeshift, and Tron. Untill I get to know this deck a little better, I am not going to edit the mana base at all. Thanks for the thoughts though!

$80 is a perfect budget in modern

That is a good budget, you can really make some good decks with 80$, including one if my favorites, gruul zoo without Tarmogoyfs! I will be getting the whole deck eventually, and luckily for me, Bitterblossem doesn't fit in here!

Ya, I actually just got most of the cards to this deck and they are sitting in front of me right now. I hope to take this deck all the way to competitive level, so I'll be posting updates here and realizing new decklists
