Deck Description

What's better than Exalted? MORE EXALTED! Designed to make the most of the exalted mechanic and punch through for massive damage with speed and preferably evasion. Turn 4 is a very possible target for the win, though turn 5-6 is more common.

How to Play

--CORE--
The deck wants to be fast out the blocks and keep that momentum pummelling in the opponent's face until their life is gone. Noble Hierarch is the best of the one drops, giving you access to your Ardent Pleas on turn two. Akrasan Squire substitutes as an alternative early beater that can sit back once bigger threats hit the field.

Invisible Stalker is a fantastic two drop and the prime attacker. Hexproof + unblockable + exalted is far too good to pass up, and will usually end games in 2-4 turns after it hits the field. Aven Squire is the alternative and acts as a chump blocker for troublesome fliers which would otherwise cause potentially serious issues.

Ardent Plea is a great card that can filter through the deck for a Stalker or an extra exalted play. Staying on the field with its own exalted bonus is even better. Just watch out in case it cascades into a Path to Exile, as it's not always the best play at the times you play Plea.

Rafiq of the Many, Sublime Archangel, and Finest Hour are the decks finishers. All perform a similar job on their own and one of the three on the field is usually enough to seal it. Magic happens, though, when two or all three are together on the field, which is surprisingly common. With evasive creatures out, nothing will survive that onslaught unless they've built up a LOT of life.

--SUPPORT--
Qasali Pridemage obviously provides a way of dealing with troublesome artifacts and enchantments, but also provides its own exalted buff.

Intrepid Hero is used over Giltspire Avenger because of its easier casting cost and less frustrating limitation on its ability. Chances are the creatures I want to destroy with either are powerful and I don't really want to be taking hits from them in order to destroy them.

Silent Arbiter plays perfectly into exalted's hands, impeding the opponent's ability to attack you full-on and left struggling to defend themselves when you're on the attack (assuming you aren't evasive for whatever reason).

Path to Exile is the only creature removal. Exile for {W} is incredible. Let them have their filthy land! They should be dead before it's useful! But, as mentioned earlier, be careful cascading into it. Would suck to put the only one you'll pull for 10 draws at the bottom of your library because playing it would be disadvantageous at that time.

--SIDEBOARD--
Sigiled Paladin is something that was originally in the deck, but over time I started subbing out exalted utility creatures for better non-exalted utility creatures, and when Invisible Stalker came along as an attacker something needed to be pushed. First strike can still be very useful though, especially on the block against smaller creatures, and plays nicely with Silent Arbiter in that regard.

Extra Intrepid Hero for when there's too many large creatures for 2 copies to handle, or I just need to increase draw chance without upsetting deck balance.

Artful Dodge is an alternative outlet of evasion. up to eight activations of unblockable for when I just need to punch through as soon as possible and my Stalkers are sleeping in my deck.

Wild Defiance makes anyone using lots of targetted burn on my creatures think twice, forcing them into using activated abilities or stronger spells like Chandra's Outrage or Flame Slash. Lightning Bolt just won't cut it once this is out.

Battlegrace Angel makes the cut to provide lifelink and a little extra late-game reach should momentum be stolen from me and I can't finish quickly. Being a five drop puts her at the top of my curve, but she's definitely useful.

--EDITS--
8/7/2013: Rewritten How to Play section and added Battlegrace Angel to the sideboard.

Deck discussion for Bant's Exalted Army

If you havent seen my deck you can check it out (just click on me). you have a good deck going on there. from your description i assume that you have actually played with this deck. My own exalted deck has been able to win in 4 turns as well, and always wins before my 7th turn which is why i love Exalted so much. I guess the only way to see which deck is better is to put them against each other, but sadly we cant do that. the only thing i think will help this deck is some good ol lifelink.

Yes, I've been playing with this for the best part of 18 months or so. Lifelink I strongly considered, and would use Battlegrace Angel in a heartbeat if I decide to go that route. Will most likely end up in my sideboard though as I usually manage fine without it. But that's only my casual group metagame. In the wider world, I would liekly need to consider it more, as it becomes more prone to being stopped if the opponent can drag the game out.

I have seen your exalted deck and I like it. Can't say I've dabbled much in black exalted, but there definitely some strong cards there. Nefarox himself seems boss, and with the deck only being 2 colour allows for better consistency (usually).

Regardless, I think we can both agree that exalted is amazing!

Just as well my deck will need some upgrades when i go out of town and duel with other more experienced players. but i wont be making changes to that deck until i actually start losing. but for now none of my friends even want to play against that deck because they know they cant beat it.

My creatures die more often when i make an almost pure indestructible deck. so heck YEA we can agree on that.
