No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck discussion for Standard Mono-White Pauper

Hi and welcome to standard :) My first thought looking at your deck is that you need to ease your mana curve a little bit. 4 Glory's and 4 Voices are a bit heavy for a deck like this, and personally I don't like Voice of the provinces at all, it's not a very good card.

There is also no need for 4 War report, after all you need to build up a bit of an army before it will be worth it's mana cost.

Rebuke is not the best removal, if possible I'd add 2 more oblivion rings and perhaps 2 arrest instead of it.

As for angels, I'd switch Voice of the provinces for Emancipation Angel. It combines very well with your Cathedral Sanctifiers, and is a lot easier on your mana curve.

You also need to decide what you will win with. Right now your deck has a good early game, but no mid-game at all.

I understand you want to keep the deck cheap?

Oh I just noticed you named your deck Pauper. That means only common cards, is this a restriction you want? If so you have some cards that has to go ;)

Awesome feedback. As a new player, I didn't know the distinction between pauper and budget. I just thought that pauper meant "Not breaking the bank". I always have a hard time with mana curve, because I don't know how to try and tee off on one particular game changing card. I'm getting a few more cards, so once I know what I'm working with, I'll be posting a few more mono-white concepts. Thanks for being kind to a noob :)

If you're into that, you could head into equipments with those humans, as there are plenty of equipment that synergize well with humans AND are common. (Ardent recruit, Auriok sunchaser, sunspear shikari)

Also, unless you really NEED to keep it pauper, there are LOTS of uncommons that will not cost more than 3-10c online. Even rares can be cheap and useful in your deck (riders of gavony)
You can check out some of my budget decks for ideas of cheap cards, i usually keep my decks under 30$. Obviously if you dont have 20-30$ to spend, keeping it pauper will help a lot =)

The goal was cheap, not commons. That was my bad in phrasing. The goal is to play and not get stomped without breaking the bank, because my first attempts at buying specific cards was without the information needed. So now I have some AWESOME cards that can't be used in standard. This website, particularly for feedback like yours, is why I keep coming back and trying again. I'll be poking around your budget decks this weekend ... ever looking for new inspiration ;)
