So i'm going to use Swan Song. Need to replace 1 of my counterspells. Torn between Arcane Denial and Memory lapse.

I was thnking the same thing when I started with this deck. I kept getting mana-screwed mainly because a lot of the creatures require a couple of blue or black mana. I decided to get some stones and it has worked for me so far. I might do away with one of them and replace it with Burnished Hart.

This is the second time someone suggested Swan Song. This time, I will be giving it a try. Thanks.

Had the chance to look at your mill deck some time back. Left a comment too. :)

I normally play multiplayer games so fellwar stone is pretty much a staple. And I really need to accelerate mana prod. I find that the earlier I get my fatties out, the less I get attacked which increases my chances of getting my combo cards out and eventually, winning games.

Update:
Lux Canon out, Isochron Scepter in. Was choosing between Gate to Phyrexia and the scepter but went for the scepter because... It makes more sense I guess. Lol.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Keep 'em coming. Any comments are welcome as well.

Yeah, Isochron Scepter will have a lot of good uses in my deck. Now for the hard part. Looking for a card to remove.

Thanks. Will take note of all of them and revise the draft as soon as i'm done with my current project.

Cool. I play mostly multiplayer games so i'm hoping to build one that will just keep clearing the board until my opponents run out of threats. Only then do I move in for the kill. In short, controlled chaos. Lol.

Gate to Phyrexia seems like a better option than Lux Canon. Thanks! Hope I can find one.

Thanks. Those are some good suggestions. Strange as it may seem, i'm not trying to get more mill cards in the deck. But now that you've pointed out wrexial, I am thinking of replacing it with Lord of the Void. Not sure if it's a good idea since it is harder to cast but it will help me get more creatures on the board, not to mention exile those Eldrazis.

I might use nihil spellbomb if I can find a card to take out from the deck.

Bribery sounds good if it wasn't so expensive. I have Praetor's grasp in the deck. Also using Archeomancer/Mnemonic Wall in the deck so that allows me to take out a couple of cards from an opponent. Another reason why i'm not overly concerned with decks using Eldrazi.

Thanks! I must confess I haven't really put that much attention to this deck yet. It's still just a draft since my focus is still on my other EDH deck. You might want to check that one out too. It's almost done. Just lacking some more pieces to make it run exactly how I want it to.

I think Painter's Servant is banned in EDH. This was one of the reasons I took out Grindstone and replaced it with Keening Stone.

Tormond's is a maybe since I don't really rely on milling (unless it's a one-hit mill kill) to win. I actually need people to have cards (lots of them) in their graveyards since i'm running Keening Stone, Consuming Aberration,Diluvian Primordial, which I can sometimes flick, and Geth in the deck. What I could really use are cards can help me get rid of artifacts without having to destroy everything else.

Thanks for the suggestions though. I've been reading up on the eldrazi storyline and it is indeed Lovecraft-ish! Now i'm starting to regret taking that 10-year hiatus from the game. Missed a lot of good expansions/storylines. Lol.

I like what you have here. A friend of mine has a similar deck but I think yours is a bit more streamlined which is great.

Small update, decided to take Rogue's Passage out and replaced it with Lux Canon. Hopefully this helps me in dealing with pesky artifacts and enchantments without sacrificing my own permanents in the process.

Combos like Spell Crumple + Tunnel Vision, Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank and Traumatize + Keening Stone (if Leyline of the Void is not in play), might be a good addition to your deck.

Also, you might want to give Nemesis of Reason a look. It's cheap and it doesn't need to deal combat damage to mill a good amount of cards.

Thanks. I've have stopped playing the game for a decade so i'm not sure what the eldrazi is but you are correct, milling is a pretty hard way to win in commander. This is why I went for infinite mill combos like Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake + Sands of Delirium/Mind Grind and the commonly used Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage.

I did run a Bloodchief Ascension a while back. Not sure why I removed it since it also does infinite mill with Mindcrank. Thanks for reminding me. :)

There are still some cards that I would like to add to the deck, Leyline of Anticipation bring one of them, but i'm having difficulty picking out a card to take out. Any suggestions?

Other than that, the biggest issue I have is dealing against beatdown decks and being ganged up on. I'm trying my hardest to improve the tempo of the deck hoping getting the fatties out earlier than I usually do can help me survive long enough to play my combo/synergies. Soon i'll be so desperate, i'm going to start using Ensnaring Bridge and Propaganda which is the last thing I hope to do because they don't have any synergy in the deck.

I was thinking of getting some smaller creatures because the deck has some difficulty against beatdown. Not sure if this will be good enough. Maybe a Mnemonic Wall would serve me better. Any suggestions on what I should take out of the deck?

You might want to take a peek at my deck. It probably has some more cards you'd be interested in.

My deck is similar but adjusted it a bit to be more competetive in multiplayer games. Maybe you'd like to try putting creatures like Geth, Lord of the Vault for added mill and some graveyard recursion which might come in handy if your opponent has good creatures.

Also, since you're already using Tunnel Vision, you might want to add Spell Crumple. Instantly mills one guy out of the game.

I'm thinking of using Academy Ruins but i'm not sure if I really need it or what to replace if I do use it. Suggestions?
