taking advantage of persist creatures ability to sacrifice for big monsters. This deck could be improved a bit with dark temper replaced with damnation and assassinate with terminate. I decided not to include those switches because i don't want to spend like 40+ bucks for four damnations and I have the dark tempers instead of terminates so I guess I want some feedback more focused on the creature selection rather than creature control spells. Although any feedback is welcome. I was also thinking about replacing some cards to add the creature "carrion thrash". It will let me bring back creature should something get destroyed although its kinda expensive so I don't know about that.

i recomend mycoloth for any devour deck, and i like nest invaders over the thallid, and possibly some kind of shroud effect for your big devoured guys because tons of 1 mana spells can set you back three or four turns.

Other than no including Mycoloth, this is a very awesome and original deck. I've never thought about using persist in devour. I'm not sure how this plays, but by guessing, i'd rate this 3/5 or 7/10. Anyways, nice build.
