Deck Description

Use creatures that tap for mana to get an early Borborygmos Enraged and slaughter them. Entire deck only costs $25 on TCG Player but could get much cheaper if you buy from one store (because of shipping).

How to Play

You want to save as many lands in your hand as possible for when Borborygmos Enraged comes into play. For the 5 turn win you only need 2 Mountains and a Forest on board.

You can use Creeping Renaissance to get lands back from your graveyard or creatures.

Turn 5 Win:
Turn 1: Forest + Elvish Mystic/Arbor Elf
Turn 2: Mountain + Somberwald
Turn 3: Mountain + 2 of any combination of Elvish Mystic and Arbor Elf
- Use Wild Guess if you need cards and save mana for Fog
Turn 4: Savage Summoning (optional but makes it much safer) + Borborygmos Enraged
Turn 5: Enlarge (can kill without if you have enough lands) + Attack with Borborygmos Enraged + Discard Lands

Please let me know if there are other alternatives for drawing cards and cards I can add to the sideboard.

Yeah. This deck isn't very competitive. Borbor is just a fun card I wanted to build a deck around.

With Wild Guess you have more chances of picking him up and I'll add Mwonvuli Beast Tracker into the sideboard :).

The best way is to make a Borborygmos Enraged EDH deck. 50 mountain, 49 forest, cast Borborygmos turn 8 for laughs...

to be honest, seeing borbor in your deck, an mwonvuli in the board just gave me a deck idea. ive been having tons of success with big green nasty creatures, mutavault, descendat`s path, and beast tracker.

I'm glad to see that. One of the main reasons I make decks is to give other people ideas :).

http://www.mtgvault.com/therealdustan/decks/big-and-nasty/ this is the deck ive been running..usually i come in first or top4 in fnm..notbad, but its casual, lol your deck made me want to drop all the multiples of the big nastys, add in one ofs off all the big scarys mwonvuli can grab. add some chromatics and tutor up all the mean things.
there are tons of other things that can speed your deck up, but most of the addittions will push you out of budget deck range. if you used the garruks, or the beast tracker combo i use in my deck you can (with luck) t3 the borbor. the idea being t1 arbor elf, t2 mutavault, tap vault forest and elf to play descendents path, at upkeep phase tap mutivault to activate itself if its a creature free play. if not play a land and toss out beast tracker to put borbor on top of the deck...also mulch could help you add tons of mana to your hand

Sounds like a really fun idea. If you do it let me know if you like it.

http://www.mtgvault.com/therealdustan/decks/551790/ so i started small, and this is what i have came up with. i tried to make bor bor come out on turn 3 or 4. and have access to the full amount of mana in the deck. ive play tested it since i saw your deck, so far its held its own against most of the meta decks.

That's awesome. I'm glad you've had success with it.
