I used to run 8 planeswalkers, but it was far too slow against Grull and Boros Aggro (the 6 in the main/sideboard and a pair of Liliana of the Viel). Lingering isn't as effective as it used to be before gatecrash when I'd set the up with Runechater's Pike, but they still make excellent chump blockers and will occasionally ping as I stall to mill/angels/obzedat win con.
