Get the low cost cards out, preferably one with extort first so that you can deal damage without attacking so you can block your opponents.Followed by cards with deathtouch this should stop your opponents from attacking in general.Sorceries are used in a way similar to extort, play them to heal yourself as well as deal damage.Lifelink cards are used to heal yourself.Rhox faithmender will double any lifelink card effectiveness.
