Deck Description

This deck is not actually optimized, it is simply what I have of the things I want to have in the deck. It isn't difficult to imagine why I might like to trade in the Skinbrand's for two Pyrewild's or a Pyrewild and a Rampager.

How to Play

Many will say that trying to make an unblockable deck is foolish unless done in blue and black. But this one is done in Gruul, because I can. The idea is literally to be killing the opponent on turn three or four. Turn five will generally leave you wishing you had mulled the hand with three lands, a llanowar, and a disciple plus whatever else. If you find that your opening hand does not have at least one landwalker, a lush growth if they aren't running mountains or forests, and two bloodrush or boost cards, the deck will not attain victory unless the opponents literally sit there and let you kill them.
This deck will not survive multiplayer. You will have the power to take out one person and possibly cripple another, but you are moving on turn one, possibly even attacking, and that makes you target number one.
The deck was, however, built to play alongside a support deck in Two-Headed Giant.

If it comes down to being forced into blocking, you have lost the game (barring a serious mistake by the opponent) because there is no defense capability in the deck, and the only defense against flying is the two gruul charms that you will never draw when you really need them.
I often tell people how much mana is in the deck (14), and almost immediately they will say "Yeah you need more". The lack of Mana is actually beneficial due to the extremely low cost of every card (only two cards should ever be played for four mana in the deck, the two copies of Rubblebelt Raiders). I have often found that in a game where I have more than five mana, I will lose the game because I ran out of steam due to drawing lands. There were originally two Arbor Elves in the deck to round the mana out to a stable 18, but they were removed to make room for Koth's Courier.
It is important to keep the decksize as low as possible due to the low mana count as well. going over 70 will likely result in many 0 land mulligans. The key is to really be strict with the kind of opening hand that is allowed to play, especially if the opponents have played the deck before.
That said, when the deck works (and it often does), there is very little an opponent can do barring a similar deck build or a well placed Deathmark.
