I've seen them run Thassa or Kira.. I plan to have Kira replace Spellskite. I don't really see mana leaks in modern merfolks either.

I really appreciate the input.. I've never heard of glittering though, I've stopped magic for a while so the more recent cards are unknown to me. With the creatures you've suggested, I see how they can be helpful, but I'm more looking for how I can add more enchantments to spice things up. With tutors, grove, and wishing, It's like I can have at the most almost any card at my grasp (any enchantment that is)
