Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This is pretty straight forward. Get you mana out fast, play your golden dragons, use their abilities... and when the time is right use Roost.

Get your Lands and Signets out a.s.a.p. Then start playing your dragons. Use Sudden Spoiling or Damnation to control the play.

Please comment!

Fireball can be used as creature killer and/or player killer. I only play the latter in desperate situations though.

Deck discussion for Golden Dragons

This deck seems solid. The only drawback I see to this deck is that you only have 12 creatures and 34 or the 60 cards are dedicated to mana creation. That said, the deck is a bit slow. I bet there are some games when you get no creatures at all and as a result lose. Great deck! I'd say maybe if you got some lands like gemstone mine or some other multicolor lands like shivan oasis, you could cut down on the number of basic lands and improve your odds of drawing one of those dragons.

i was gonna say this deck really doesnt need multiples of all those dragons, but the mirror gallery would fix that

With all that accel, you need the ability to DRAW those dragons...get 4 'Time of Need', grab Scion, use him to get Teneb out, use Teneb to get everything else out.
I've seen a similiar deck that used creatures like the 'Birds of Paradise' and land drawing creatures instead of signets, maybe a little safer? (to stop the 'no creature' problem). My personal opinion on the whole 'legendary' multiplicity subject, get 4 scion, and one of anything else. Except maybe multiples of the ressurecting ones.

Also, don't know if you thought about this but there is an old creature called Zirilian of the Claw. Let's you search your library for a dragon and put it into play with haste. Then you remove it at the end of turn.

Might be useful for finding those dragons if your having a tough time.

Thank you for all your input guys. I have already modified the inital deck by adding some dual lands. I took out the Dragon Roost and replaced it with Time of Need, since Teneb can reanimate my graveyard. I also thought about Zirilian, but I wanted to make a multicolor deck only. I could have added 'Dragonstorm' and 'Bogardan Hellkite' for Combo damage.

Anyway, please keep up the input, as soon as I have the modified deck working I will publish it here.

Ok,. this is the updated version of my Dragon deck. Although I had integrated the card you guys mentioned, I found that the deck is quite fun to play like this. It is just a fun deck... nothing serious.
