im looking at getting this exact deck but i would like more enchantment creatures , what would you sudgest swaping, and for what

i would swap the lands that take life to use and swap for a land that gives you life when played

Not really great. That would slow this deck down even more. The shocklands give you a choice at least. Those refurge/khan lands have to enter tap.

Some way to gain life woulf be nice. That way you won't get beat fown after losing so much life.
blightsteel would be another wincon.

Gaining life is for chumps and totally takes away from the one shot focus

Since you're playing predominately white you could maybe add a few radiant fountains. It wouldn't slow down your deck, if you did it right and it would help keep you alive till you can drop your big guys. Your deck isn't exactly fast.
Just a thought.

you could throw in spirit link, and put it on stuffy, and that would be fantastic.

I had a Stuffy Doll with Gift of Orzhova back when they were legal, and it WRECKED...mostly because Stuffy is dealing the damage so it gets lifelinked!

Guilty Conscience is an infinite combo with Stuffy.

im loving that combo im trying to run it in a g/w deck. in casual multiplayer im going to use 4 sol rings lol
Im trying to build 1 that is legacy legal but w/o sol ring it gets expensive even with sol ring its probably to slow. ill probably just stick to a cheaper multiplayer deck

to bad stuffy can only deal players damage if it dealt creatures to you could add deathtouch for lots of fun lol

im more of an agro player so I picked g/w to try the combo but I can see a u/w control deck pulling that combo even better im just to impatient to play control

how is that? guilty conscience will damage stuffy and stuffy damage is done to the chosen player so when that player dies the combo ends

1

Yeah, it is legal. Same thing for sanguine bond and exquisite blood. It ends because the player dies and doesn't continue triggering past of the combo. :)

The damage dealt to Stuffy Doll would have to resolve for the combo to take place.

Stuffy Doll deals one damage to himself, damage resolves, Guilty Conscience triggers due to damage dealt to Stuffy Doll, damage resolves. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, TheDzmttsh doesnt know what he is talking about. GuiltyDoll is an established combo that generates an infinite loop, which ends when the oppenent dies.

You could toss in Pariah's Shield to toss onto Stuffy to make them take damage they try to hit you with. Plus, more benefit for Mycosynth Golem.

Myr Battlesphere perhaps as a 1 of. It could potentially make your Darksteel Juggernaut very powerful. It somewhat works with other aspects of this deck as well.

This deck looks like a lot of fun. The only additions I would think of making would be glissa, the traitor or either of the Tezzeret Planeswalkers. Both of which don't really fit your mana base though.

You should be running 4 of Ancient Den, Great Furnace, and Vault of Whispers, in place of your basic lands.

How's about something like Blasphemous Act?
Blasphemous Act on Stuffy with a Dictate of the Twin Gods out would be easily lethal, and they wouldn't even see it coming.

Heck, any of these might be something to consider:
Anger of the Gods
Chain Reaction
Inflame
Magmaquake
Pyroclasm

am i missing something? isn't stuffy doll + guilty conscience infinite? why not run a playset of each?

0

It reads that way to me as well.
I don't really know why someone wouldn't play 4. Perhaps so the deck doesn't consistently win with the same combo all the time and wants it to be able to play out differently more often.

0

i mean, if you're gonna win by combo some of the time, you might as well just win all of the time

0

Oh I understand and agree with you. I tend to build decks around said things and focus it. (for the most part) If I want to win in a different way I just build a completely new deck. I was just speculating on the possible reasoning of your question, since I am not the owner of this deck and really don't know.

Infinite combos are boring. I play Magic for fun; not to suck the fun out of every game. I have made several infinite combos, but any of the ones I have used have been unsatisfying, so I took them out of my decks.

I only have 1 deck with an infinite combo; sage of hours, guilder bairn, paradise mantle, training grounds. but I only run 1 training grounds in the deck so it rarely goes infinite and I still don't play it often because its not fun when u take 5-6 turns while everyone else just watches

I like the idea of the deck, because i have a similar one, but i think to this point its crucial to make ir cheaper to cast and to deal early damage, i only sugest that you make more mana with artifacts.

How does this help his deck?

0

mono colored, and thus easier to play. but I think that FC is a more flexible card here.

0

Fire Covenant isn't used for a field wipe in this deck. It is used on Stuffy where Toxic is used as a wipe and it doesn't deal damage, it deals -x/-x which would kill Stuffy.

0
Posted 07 February 2015 at 23:06

agreed. I think that is suits this deck far better, as you need to not wipe the board, and toxic deluge deals no damage. normally though... I would side with deluge for a solid board wipe, just not in this deck. :) chain reaction would be far better.

i thought he was trying to run a sweeper effect without double checking the actual win con of the deck. That being said with the ridiculous mana curve of this deck i would just run blasphemous act instead.

Or if you drop their toughness to zero with cards like infect/wither, other -1/-1 counters, or other effects that give -x/-x (like toxic or a dismember ect.).
