I've always found that lists such as this make CounterTop shine more than many other decks. StifleNought's biggest weakness is a slew of spells in the 2 and under CMC range. The CounterTop setup here stops them cold, and I don't think most decks with such distinct weaknesses have built-in weapons against those weaknesses like this...it's facinating to me =]

I wouldn't quite say stop them cold, as Abrupt Decay is still a rage inducing card for the deck, but it does do a great deal to mitigate the inherent shortcomings.Also, I've recently run into a slew of the Goblin Bombardment/Blood Artist decks.
