It looks like it will work, it's just so very janky my brain short-circuited for a second haha. There's no REAL consensus on how Iso-Seek should be run, only that you need Iso, and Seek. Generally some variant of the frame I run is what's been most successful, but I have seen all kinds of other frames. That said, I've never seen one based around Parfait hahaha. Also, smart idea using Path over Swords with Psychic Surgery.

It definitely runs, I wouldn't say smoothly, but it's fun as hell. Getting three cards a turn off of Scroll Rack is insane, but this thing isn't as stable as Iso-Pox even.

Path with Psychic is fun, but really it was for Land Tax to be honest. I run the full playset of PtE in all of my Parfait attempts, but here is where it gets the most use.

Parfait engine might run in my Fasting deck....hmmmmm. At least I know how I'm gonna use my Land Tax in EDH now.

Fuck dude that's fun. :O

Parfait is really fun, it just takes so freaking long to take a turn for some people. I used to hate it, but most people are okay with just putting the lands you get now thankfully.

In EDH both parts are super fun, but Scroll Rack in some games is just bonkers. Dead cards in hand? Not anymore!

I was playing a Legacy Bomberman brew a little while back with a single Meekstone in the maindeck. I was seriously blown away by how powerful that thing actually is!

Whats with Preator's Grasp? That effect for 3 mana seems a little lack luster. I guess every once in a while you'll hit some sorry ANT players Tendrils though. (One of the many reasons i play Burning Wish in my ANT deck ^_^)

This deck looks absurd though... .. . .

Absurdly fun! >:D

Fell asleep after three days on two hours, today was a good day.

Meekstone really is just brutal, but the biggest piss-off for aggro players is if it gets setup with Blind Obedience. You want a creature? It better be 1-2/x, or it's not doing anything but looking pretty.

Praetor's Grasp is something I'm always torn by, it's targeted extraction that lets me play the card I rip, but it could be Hide // Seek 4 with Ethersworn Canonist, or a Revoker. But there's not many plays as evil as it can be.

Thanks! This thing is just as fun as it looks, depending on which side of the table you're on :P

Here's the thing about Grasp. It allows for versatility. Is Seek better? In most cases yes, it is...seek is, and probably will be for a very very long time, the overall best extraction card out there. It's instant, it gains you life, and it's direct extraction. However, for one extra mana and sorcery speed, you can hold the card you take in reserve and USE IT. This in some ways gives you the opponent's entire deck as a secondary sideboard. Hell, I've won a game by grasping a guy's Daze and using it on him.

And it has always been my dream to have a card that can extract sideboards. One day...I will have my wish >=}

Also welcome back WnB!

One of best things I've ever managed was taking some poor bastards only Chain of Vapor, meaning Ethersworn stuck. I beat them with that Canonist XD
Also, if such a card existed that could wish/extract from another persons board, can you imagine how weird Doomsday mirror matches would be? It'd be awesome, to the point that I hope that's going to be a thing soon.

Never really left, mostly just lurked. I'm pretty much out of projects till M14, so I got bored and started playing other TCGs again. Oddly enough YuGiOh is what I've been brewing for.

I could see it now. Crush Dreams: instant. "Put target card from outside the game exiled under your control." =]

There would be nothing extraction couldn't reach, wishes would no longer be a loophole so to speak. And doomsday mirrors would truly become a test of who's the smarter and ballsier player. I'd love it.

I never really got into yugioh...I have nothin against it, just never had the history with it I do with magic. Yugioh didn't teach me to read, magic did =P

I was thinking more along the lines of Praetor's Grasp in terms of effect, but you rip it from either players SB. I'd rather it be a Sorcery, since doing it in response to something would be a bit insane.
It'd also probably need some sort of restriction, like a Wish, but you could argue that the restriction is the same as the primary benefit of ripping it from the opponents SB.

I think I'd teach everybody at the shop how to play Doomsday if they made that a card, even just one mirror match each time would be awesome. TNT would also be a neat deck to see mirrors of, but ANT and TES would actually remain about the same to me :|

YuGiOh didn't teach me to read, but it definitely is what got me into the control mindset. A lot of people go for OTKs, and I'm cheap, so I went for things that stop them :) I can dig it that you didn't get into it, it's really weird, and I doubt I'd be back in it if it hadn't been my first TCG.

I borrowed the Iso-Pox/Seek deck archetype from you guys and tried to make it modern. If you have the time I'd like an opinion.
