Deck discussion for Wait, Phantasmagorian does WHAT?

Man, I love Phantasmagorian. The name is on par with Thraximundar, Borborygmos, and the like...and the artwork is awesome, exactly how I imagine a "Horror" would look -- Just a mess of claws, flesh, guts, and teeth =P

It's interesting to see it used for Dredge, but technically its ability IS Dredge...Only better somehow O_o

It's like a cross between a Lamprey, and what one can only assume to be H. P. Lovecraft's wet dreams.

In Dredge it trades LED's mana production for multiple uses, and being able to select what you want to discard instead of just chucking that precious Firestorm to hell :D
I was suggested to try it out, and have been enjoying increased results having it as a pseudo-engine as opposed to Tireless Tribe.

The one problem I've found so far with it is that it isn't' quite as user friendly as Tribe or LED, and misuse has cost me games sadly. LED is simpler in use, because it's all in when you crack it, and because you can leave it where it lay when Dredging around hate.

Ah Dredge. I've yet to see a Dredge deck actually work properly. I can understand how it's suposed to work, but the one person in my group who does play Dredge has yet to have it work against me / while I'm watching.

As for Phantasmagorian, it's useful in Dredge, but (as you said) if used incorrectly it can be disastrous.

Yeah, this version was what I ran during the trial by misstep portion of the year, it's really stable, but now I'm playing the old version again. Phantasmagorian is great, but right now it's not necessary :/

Also, I seriously don't know how you haven't seen Dredge fir off 0_o It's more stable than Storm or Reanimator, and it's one of the few categorized as hyper-aggressive.

I'm just as shocked that it hasn't worked around me. Maybe I'm just bad luck for the dude who plays it :p
