Deck Description

A mill deck with spells that cost 2 or less. Ally based. After getting good reviews of this deck, I just might make this one. If I do I'd throw away the zendikons and add Jace v1

The deck itself is pretty self-explanatory

Deck discussion for Deck Challenge- Cheap Minds

Definatly a solid deck. Maybe trying U/W would have worked really well, but I do like going outside the box and doing a mono-blue deck. (My only other suggestion, maybe add in some ponder or Halimar Depths.)

halimar would be the better idea. I was going to use ponder, but I didn't want to sacrifice my creature count and countering ability.

I was thinking you could go without the Magosi's, they can end up being a bad double-edged sword for you, and maybe any of the enchantments for the ponders.

to be quite honest, if I don't want to use the extra turn, I can always just tap for mana. my enchantments are there for control purposes, just in case my mill doesn't work as well as it should

I love the Halimar excavators, got a deck set up around em, but i have splashed it with white and i use a lot more allies instead of the other mill spesific creatures.

That would work also, but I like keeping it mono blue, just to ensure that I don't get mana screwed

With such a low amount of lands in the deck, I'm not sure that treasure hunt is the way to go. I really like the call to heel combo with the allies.

what I like about what I did here is that it has good enough mill to be lethal, yet it has enough control to hold its own. all for under 2.

I like the idea. hard to pull off.

add some howling mines. great to keep your card advantage while milling your opponent.

nice effort!!! +1

yea... milling was a good call... i normally like to play those for casual tho... there's always something more aggressive than what you prepare for... and that says quite a bit for a mill deck...
very nice deck tho...
id like to see how it runs... +1
