Thank you, New Phyrexia, for your Immolating Soul eater, with its ability to end games on turn 2 with a decent hand. Turn 1: Reveal Chancellor of the Tangle, play Mountain, play Souleater Turn 2: Pay 18 life, play Assault Strobe (or 16 life and Tainted Strike), and swing either for 20 or 10 poison. Soul Conduit is a last-resort win condition when things don't go as planned. Just get yourself into bolt range and switch life totals, then toss a bolt.

Nice. Don't really like having Chancellor of the Tangle in there without being able to play it though. Might as well run Chancellor of the Annex as well, that way you can counter your opponent's first spell as well :P

Also, you should run Goblin Tunneler (and maybe Kiln Fiend?) for a third or fourth turn win con in case you don't open with a Chancellor of the Tangle. This could be a viable casual deck with a few tweaks, and a first turn win in T1 with Mox Diamond or Lotus Petal.
