Deck discussion for Out of Existence

What in gods name is phasing. Otherwise you get a +1 from me for consistency

Phasing causes something to completely be removed from the game, and it returns on the next turn during the Upkeep. Its an old ability.

Sorry, it comes back in at the beginning of the next turn before the Untap step. Anyway, I dont think its overall a good deck design. Just so many more powerful cards you could replace with whats in here. Day of Judgement? Why? Wrath of God is strictly better. And Blue White isnt suppose to be aggressive, its a heavy control deck. Landstill is the best example of the style of deck i speak of, and this deck is going all over the place. The only Blue White aggro deck is called Midrange and its based around control and making its no so and very few non aggressive creatures aggressive by manipulating the board.

If you know how to use it, this deck is probably one of the best when it comes to dealing with blockers. just activate the realm's ability before all of your cards phase in/out. the board is cleared of blockers and you get a free attack. also works if you have Taniwha, Time and Tide, and you choose lands.

It's a deck that is supposed to defy what one would expect from a U/W. So what "better cards" do you suggest?

Force of Will, Brainstorm, Daze, Counterspell, Wrath of God, Akroma's Vengeance, Standstill, Mana Leak etc etc.

The Realm is interesting, but why do they have to pick creature? They get to choose. Its not like your stopping them just by playing that one card. Also, Taniwha is to expensive to play. For a theme deck, you have something here. As far as competitive, its not going to go very far. You stuff is to reliant on one set theme, not a plan or strategy.

I'm talking on my turn. Choose creatures to temporarily wipe their board of creatures. The your creatures phase in and get a free attack. Like I said: deals with blockers very well. And if you noticed, I did put in wrath of god. however, Force of Will is a great idea, thanks for that.

Taniwha? expensive? it's a 5 for a 7/7 trample. I think not having lands every other turn is worth having that big of a creature out. If not, chromeshell is always there to give him to the opponent.

Your still missing the whole control element here lol. Just Force of Will alone isnt going to keep players at bay, nor is just Wrath of God going to stop creatures. You need to narrow it down to a point where you have a simplistic kill condition, guarded by lots of Blue Control and White Removal. And 5 Mana is ALOT, if it isnt going to win you the game. The best spells, unless they are free, are going to be in the 1-4 range with 5 pushing it and anything more being you HAVE to win off this or its not worth playing.

Rainbow Efreet, thats what you should use as your kill to slowely win the game. Its got built in protection anyway with being able to self phase. I would go LOTS of Blue Control, White Board Removal and Spot Removal, Some Mass Removal like your Disks, and a few Rainbow Efreet.

you're missing the point. this is built to be aggro. it's supposed to be about massive amounts of unhindered phase creatures attacking at once. It's not lockdown and ping. sure it has a few control cards like shimmer and realm, but still, this deck doesn't deal with the control element as much as the attack element here. same thing goes with my R/G Hit-and-run deck.

but yeah this is a theme deck. before this I didn't know what phasing was, so I checked. I noticed that it was a generally bad ability, so I built a deck around it, seeing how well it turned out. Honestly, I think it turned out quite well.

I will give it a +1 i like where u took this ability. instead of a worthless but fun one, u actually was able to make it usefull in some way. i also see where it would come in handy with time and tide. Attack with ur bigger creatures and then play one to bring out some potential blockers/attackers. I do have to say u seem to have a mind for this. Job Well Done!

old fogey is unhinged, meaning that it is illegal in all formats, and that it was made as a joke.

but if you must know, here it is:
every turn you must pay one of any color for each turn it has been in play. every upkeep, it phases in or out, it can attack as one with dinosaurs, it cannot be blocked by or take damage from or be targeted in any way by homarids, it is uublockable as long as your opponent controls a snow-covered plains, and if it is blocked, it gets +2/+2 for each creature b locking it beyond the first, and if it blocks or is blocked by creatures without flanking, those creatures get -1/-1.

I like the phasing deck idea but i have a question: do things that are phased out without phasing automatically phase in because i don't think they do and if they don't then your deck is screwed.
