After almost 20 years of not playing, got back into playing about a month ago. So my card selection is limited to what a pulled out of packs so far.The premise of the deck is to recycle creatures via Athreos. Adding many ways of gaining life which ultimately can used to drain the opponent by Sanguine Bond. Or create an army of 4/4 Angel's.
Get some quick 1 drop creatures out early like Drainpipe Vermin( when creature dies player discards a card) or Pharika's Chosen (Deathtouch). Play an Athreos quickly and watch the cycle begin. Pharika's Chosen will take a creature with it every time its blocked, if not it will deal 1 point of damage. Going up against creatures with first strike, double strike or trample is not a problem. Play a Pay No Heed, that creature will deal no damage and Pharika's Chosen will eat them up. The combination of Oreskos and Ephara's Radiance allows me to gain 5 life a turn for 2 mana. That can either pump out a 4/4 flying Angel Token via Angelic Accord or drain 5 life of my opponent by Sanguine Bond.
