With Dictate of Kruphix and Eidolon of Rhetoric, you can ensure that the game is shut down. From the point they are both on the field and on, your opponent will be hard-pressed to kill the Eidolon, but that's not likely to happen with all your counter spells and the Dictate to ensure they get to your hand. Then it is just a matter of time with your large creatures doing them in, Prognostic Sphinx is not only alright offensively but also will ensure you get the counterspells you need, and all for the low low price of 25$.
It's fairly simple, the hard part is how to keep friends after using this deck on them.

I think that this has some interesting potential outside of standard. A couple of cards (can't remember names) that counter the first spell each opponent plays each turn. That would be awesome here.
