This is a combo deck based around the duskmantle guildmage / mindcrank mill combo.The combo between Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank works like this.You activate Duskmantle Guildmage's first ability then deal damage through any source to an opponent, if Mindcrank is out on the battlefeild, the life lose will cause them to mill a card, then the ability kicks in and deals damage to the said opponent, activating Mindcrank, so on and so forth. Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Note, this deck works for Paper Pauper / Peasant, as far as I'm aware!
Try to get Duskmantle Guildmage, Mindcrank, and a way to push through damage onto the battlefield, activate Duskmantle Guildmage's first ability to start the combo, then during combat, attack with Tormented Soul, Triton Shorestalker, or Dimir Infiltrator to push through the damage to activate the combo. If all goes as well your opponent will have no cards in their library and lose the game.If you do not have the cards you need in your opening hand you can use cards like Augury Owl, Dissolve, or Divination to draw, scry into them. You can also use Dimir Infiltrator to tutor Duskmantle Guildmage, and Mindcrank if you do not draw into them.Cards like, Duress, Dissolve, Grasp of darkness are meant to help you slow down your opponents.
