How to Play

This is a green ramp deck full of really big and powerful creatures, and some small ones (Llanowar Elves, Somberwald Sage) that usually just tap for mana to help get the big ones out. It's critical for this deck that you get off to a quick start building up your mana base.

Triumph of Ferocity, Ranger's Path, Hunting Wilds, Primeval Titan, and Garruk's Horde are all about hitting land drops and getting extra land onto the battlefield each turn.

Green Sun's Zenith and Protean Hulk will usually be used to place Kalonian Hydra or a Predator Ooze or two on the field.

Thornling and Predator Ooze are useful blockers with their indestructible. So is Hornet Queen and her 4 1/1 Insect tokens, who all have Flying and Deathtouch.

Panglacial Wurm can be played from your library while searching it, which is possible turn 4 (Turn 1: Forest, Llanowar Elves; Turn 2: Forest, Somberwald Sage; Turn 3: Forest, Somberwald Sage, Predator Ooze or Green Sun's Zenith for Predator Ooze; Turn 4: Forest, Ranger's Path or Hunting Wilds, then use the two Somberwald Sages who each tap for 3 mana and the Llanowar Elves to pay for Panglacial Wurm while you're searching your library). Now you've got a 9/5 with Trample who can block turn 4 and attack turn 5, an indestructible ooze, and can generate 14 mana by turn 5.

You can also get Panglacial Wurm out on turn 3 if you draw it. Green Sun's Zenith is just another option.
