My experience with Depths is that the sooner you get it the better chances you have. Living Wish gives you 6 chances to get either the Depths or Hexmage. Also gives you some interesting options for a sideboard.

Scour, Allay, Auratog and splash Blue for Aura Thief...
Orzhova, the Church of Deals. I ran a BW control and won many games with it, slow but steady. Leech Ridden Swamp is good if you had more permanents. I'd highly suggest some Phyrexian Areana's. Painful Quandary may be a good finisher for ya too. I'd even go as far as a couple Cursed Land.
Aura Gnarlid is a fun card, I run a pauper RGW aura deck that does quite well. Gnarlid n Snake Umbra are nice for card draw. Hyena Umbra helps get past deathtouch, infect, trample and lifelink. Throw in some Sacred Wolfs and some more fliers. I'd run 8 auras and maybe a little Regrowth. Check out Uril, the Mistwalker for some upgrading. GL
