The deck is built around ramp + draw into rune scare demon, pulling venser to flicker the demon. Then you have your choice of tasty combos to work with. Either go for silence + wall combo, or cyclonic rift + wall, or spine sash, or dig for an elixir if you need life / graveyard heal, or the spellbomb if you need to take out their yard, or simply an O-Ring to snipe something.

The vivid lands might not be a bad addition to this deck, and cheap control cards like tumble magnet, fiend hunter and aether adept could round out the deck a little. Glimmerpoint stag is a great creature for backing up venser and also has a neat removal effect when paired with venser as well as lending to your core mechanic a bit.
