like the idea but I think you need more removal agro is going to be all over the place. exquisite blood seems a bit clunky and slow, I get the idea that you can abuse the life gain with the guildmage but dropping that on turn five seems a bit slow. I would also drop the lashes, connections and cremate. the cipher cards are nice in theory but I don't see who is going to be dealing the combat damage besides the hawk on obzedat, who leaves the battlefield every turn thus negating the effectiveness of either card

If he keeps the exquisite blood but took out the cipher, he would have to add murder. Keep the lash card because it completely stops there powerhouse creature. he should add some midnight haunting just for more creature/ chump blocker to buy time for the blood. take out alters reap, cremate, midnight recovery, shadow slice, sign in blood. Add another underworld connections.. you probably don't need two sorins in the deck especially if you are drawing so many cards. and add in the one mana costing extort creature. i cant remember its name. Thrull parasite? that will help to... just my opinion...
