Haha I don't mind :D My deck gets stronger, and I learn a good amount. I was under the impression that once countered, the spell has no effect including targeting? The shieldmates are there in case a lord inst drawn, or was picked off.. I can at least keep one or two creatures hexproofed. Evacuation fits in quite nicely, thank you!

I think I would drop Gitaxias in favor of another lord of the unreal. Also, spellshift is a little weak unless the goal is mill. Perhaps drop Illusions of Grandeur? I have not seen a deck run them well without donate. Cumulative upkeep is not a fun effect. Overall though, I like it!
Damn you are 100% correct. I'm not sure I like curfew that much, I want to keep my creature in play. I feel if this deck doesn't win quickly you are almost guaranteeing a loss. I guess I'll have to go with some other counterspell or trickery. Thanks for letting me know about redirect!
