Deck Description

I start playing boros when i won a draft with a terrible boros deck and since then I've been polishing it and try it make it as fast as possible; in speeding it up i left no room for the late game meaning if i didn't win finish my opponent by turn 7-8 i had lost. This time i focused on stopping my deck from peaking at turn 5 with more draw cards like Dragon mantle and Chosen by heliod to keep my hand size up. Using this many planes walkers is a first for me but Gideon abilities come in handy when my deck starts to runs out of steam.

How to Play

Turn 1-2 place down as many creatures as possible whilst attack each turn if able. On turn 3 place down 1 & 2 cost enchantment or instant available then swing for max damage (if no enchantments or instants are usable cast a seismic stomp). Turn 4 I'd like to be able to place down a Gideon then +1 him but if he's not available, buffing or adding more attackers to the fields then swinging for max damage is okay. In the ideal game i'd like to bring out an assemble the legion right now so that i can swing for more damage or leave the 1/1 soldiers behind for deference.

For breaking my opponents guard I've put in x3 seismic stomps and x4 brave the elements into my deck just in case my opponent is also running aggro or control. If i'm unable to beat my opponents speed i'll use the Soul tithe to decrease the amount of land he can use each turn.

If my opponent is using hero's downfalls or dreadbore i'll swap out my Gideon for Tajic so that i can still have a decent mid-late game if i can't win within 5 or less turns. For plan C i also have my Gideons which can board wipe everything then swing for the win.

At the moment the only removal in my deck is the boros charm so i might finish my side board with semi cheap removal like chained to the rocks.

If i can afford more temple of triumph and sacred foundry in the future i'll buy them but for now the guild gates will do.

Deck discussion for Worst than expected

I'm fairly sure that neither boros charm nor brave the elements protects from Giddeon's ult. Boros charm makes them Indestructible. Giddeon says Exile, not destroy. Brave the elements give them protection. Giddeon says ALL, not any targets.

Yeah your right, i thought protection meant they couldn't be effected by the chosen color but it actually means they can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything of that color. Also Gideon exiles so that also means indestructibly won't help. Thanks for pointing that out it really helped a lot.
