This is a mill deck I have been working on. This is my first posted deck, others to come. I dont play in any real formats or tournaments, so the legality of the deck is for casual play. It seems to do its work around 5 mana.
The best way to play is to get to 5 mana as effeciently as possible. Hold mana for counter spells and milling ability. Once you hit 5 start to play the better creatures and spells. A few mind grinds can devestate a deck. Also the combo of Phenax and Consuming Abberation can be devestating in a few short turns. Played correctly, you shouldn't go past turn 10.

This is my first post, and one of my favorite casual play decks. Any suggestions are welcome.

I'd suggest limiting yourself to 2 colors ( ideally black and blue works the best) 4 is really hard to manage getting the right color even with a lot of fetches.Bring in hedron crab as he's a beast in any mill deck Drop to max of 2 Mind Grinds (6 cmc for 4 lands vs 3 cmc for 4 lands of mind funeral) and max out you mind funeralsMindcrank for you duskmantle is an instant win combo if you can get 1 mil.bring in 4 archive traps and at least 2 ghost quarters as they will trigger the traps drop dream twist for thought scour (they mill 2 you draw 1) or tome scour (mill 5) check out my turbo mill deck if you want to see a ultra fast mill deck.
Yeah I havent completely updated my sideboard but I have a the thought scour and tome scour as well. Hedron I am getting for the deck currently. I think the 2 extra colors (G/R) Are tough and I switch them in and out as I play but usually prefer to keep them out. They are currently in sideboard now. Thanks for your suggestions. I liked your deck as well.
