I think "Ghostfire" might come in handy if you're ever playing against decks with Protection in them...

Update: I dropped "Curse of Bloodletting" in my stupid werewolf deck concept. Then I remembered this conversation...

That card doubles all sources of damage against enchanted player. It's also harder to remove an Enchantment as opposed to a Creature. Same CMC as well.

What about swapping "Sacred Nectar" with "Whitesun's Passage"? You gain 1 more life and it's an Instant. Not sure if you're more inclined to attach one of your damage Instants to Isochron Scepter or not, but it would benefit from it as well.

I see a few equipments you like to use, what about swapping out 1 "Iizuka the Ruthless" for a "Godo, Bandit Warlord"? Same CMC, and "Godo, Bandit Warlord" has some cool effects.

There was a surprising lack of red spell decks with that card, so I took a closer look at it, wondering why that'd be the case. Yeah, upon closer examination it doubles dmg across the board, for -everyone-. Might make things interesting...

EDIT: FUCK THAT CARD! If a source would deal damage to a permanent or player, double it. A SOURCE!? That's a dangerous card right there...

What about subbing in a "Dictate of the Twin Gods"? It's a bit expensive, but it's harder to remove an enchantment as opposed to a creature.

Erik loves "Browbeat", and that is red's only decent card draw. Red is supanumbawun topdeck king from what I read. Most red draw cards are 1 for 1 witch doesn't keep cards in your hand really. Just speeds up your deck. There are a few creature cards that have draw abilities I think but that's a way different playstyle than spell/burn.

"Dangerous Wager" can be a 1 for 2 if it's all you have.

Everyone loves "Wheel of Fortune"... But it does give your opponents a full hand. But if you're playing red and intend to burn them down with Direct Damage, it shouldn't be as much of an issue. Multiplayer games are a different story however...

Compared to the red spell decks I'm used to going against, Satyr Firedancer really adds a new element to it. I'd be frustrated as hell to go against you with that in your opening hand...
