--------

Add and remove various card until you get it how you like it, I generally run it like this.

Take note that you're not casting spells that are 6 mana. Fireblast is used when you get them under 4 life, sac two mountains and you finish them off. Thunderous Wrath is a card that when you draw it you can do 5 damage for 1 mana. You just don't want this in your opening hand so Mulligan if it is.

Very fun deck, not to mention it's fast.

To make it Modern legal just remove Fireblasts and Lightning bolt for something like Rift bolt , Searing Blaze, Arc Trail, or Burst Lightning. Magma jet looks underwhelming but being able to alter your next two draws is awesome in long matches

How to Play

My favorite 1v1 deck

T1: Goblin Guide swing for 2 damage
T2: Another Goblin Guide, swing for 4 damage
T3: Swing again, if they block or after combat phase just throw down Goblin grenade, Reverberate, and Fireblast for the secondary cost is a minimum of 14 damage... and game.

Another fun way is to get 4 counters on Quest for Pure Flame, which can be done in 3 turns or so easy, then do two goblin grenades or reverberate one and it'll all be doubled for 20 damage. Boom. :)

This deck is pretty sweet bro

Thanks, it was my first deck I ever did. It was $20 initially and it won me a lot of casual duels with my friends.

As I got more into magic I updated it and added the Goblin Guides and such, it's much more focused on early wins now. Goblin Chiefs and Wardrivers can be removed for other things, but I like having them since if I have a few goblins out It's better to just swing all out with a bunch of Haste +2/+2 goblins than to sac them :P

Go to the deck page and Under the title it'll say your username and date the deck was posted. Beside the date the deck was posted there is a gold lock, click it and it'll turn silver and be visible to the public.

I really like this deck, a burn deck should be simple and to the point, too many times i see peoples burn decks with a million 1x cards. the only thing i am thinking is you may not need 20 lands. I run a quick goblin deck and i do it on 15 and although the games usually only last til the 3rd or 4th turn i put a land down every time. I like the idea of using the sac mountains ability on the fireblast. I may need to use that in mine.

Honestly I tweak my mountains by 2 or so, I normally do fine at 18. I just never know what else to throw in when I remove lands.

And fireblast isnt legal in modern, if you're doing casual games its fun though

Nice deck! Maybe you could add Raid Bombartment. For each attacking creature with power 2 or less, it deals one damage to defending player. So even when your creatures get blocked or you sacrifice them before combat damage is dealt, you get to burn your opponent.

Comment my decks if you like!

Interesting idea, Ill look into side decking them and seeing if they come in handy but normally by turn three (when id lay that) I'm trying to goblin grenade most of my own creatures lol

Stil, before you sac them for the grenade you can attack and still do damage with the raid. Maybe even the goblin that gets blocked.

Maybe Goblin Charbelcher is a good card in here?

I have some but it wont see use until T4 and it's effect is T5 at best, a bit to slow for my likes

ANY DECK that runs both Fireblast and Furnace of Rath automatically gets +1 from me.

Not sure what is better on a Turn 4 than this:
You have Goblin Guide on the table, you play a Furnace or Rath, attack with Guide, and sac two mountains for Fireblast!!
12 damage. Game over almost every time!

So many people hate Furnace of Rath. Lots of people. I myself, enjoy it.
