Deck Description

This is my Mid-Range Simic Deck, using +1/+1 counters to overwhelm my opponent. Any ideas for improving the deck either Main or Sideboard are welcome. I am open to constructive criticism; if you hate the deck please let me know why, but also state what you would do to make it better.

How to Play

Main Deck:

Shambleshark will be my ninja blocker. Shambleshark's evolve mechanic will allow it to grow consistently.

Invisible Stalker will be my counter dumpster. Dumping all the counters onto him with Bioshift to get stupid big and hit hard with an unblockable and hexproof creature.

Zameck Guildmage for draw power if I'm not drawing the cards I need and also to have creatures enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter on them.

Strangleroot Geist/Young Wolf will be my counter creators. They will trigger evolve the first time they are played then again when they come back, due to Undying which makes them perfect targets for Rapid Hybridization. The best part is that I can Bioshift or Guildmage the counters off of them to basically have immortal creatures on the battlefield.

Master Biomancer is what makes this deck scary. Like I said earlier, Rancor and Increasing Savagery will make him huge, allowing you drop big creatures each turn while also triggering evolve. He works even better if you have more than one on the battlefield at a time.

Garruk, Primal Hunter is a great way to increase the size of your battlefield with his +1 ability, coming out with 3/3 Beast tokens; this ability combos well with Biomancer. Draw power for his -3 ability drawing cards equal to the greatest power among creatures I control. And last but not least his -6 ability put 6/6 green Wurm tokens onto the battlefield for each land I control. Also combos well with Biomancer and will probably cause a scoop if it resolves.

Simic Charm is like having three cards in one: Unsummon return creature to it's owners hand, or Giant Growth target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn, or permanents you control gain hexproof.

We all know what Increasing Savagery is used for in this deck.

Deck discussion for Darwinism

don't like it nearly as much as when you suggested using the undying mechanic rapid Hybridization becomes a useless card sorry but it's ok but not as cool as what we spoke about on the phone.

Nice, this is exactly what I was going to build before I built the one you commented on...Then I decided to go with Master Biomancer Bant, just ordered the cards today, you should check it out and let me know what you think. :-)

LOVE the deck, but i would through in some young wolfs, an easy 1-drop, that can come back and evolve onto a raptor or something, and i would also switch the guildmages for predator oozes.
If you get the chance, check out my B/W deck, i need all the help i can get!

First off, I have to agree with monoHorror that rapid hybridization is rather useless in this setup. Cards I would suggest you look into would be undying evil, tormented soul, invisible stalker, artful dodge, ghostform, and incursion specialist. You want to be able to pump all those +1/+1 counters out onto your creatures and then stomp your opponent whether by making your creatures unblockable, or run spells that make your opponents creatures tap out or unable to block.

Thank you for the suggestion. Until I can get Undying Evil, I'll keep Rapid Hybridization. I did sub out the Elusive Krasis for Invisible Stalker. I think with Zameck Guildmage being able to allow creatures to come onto the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter or the option to remove a +1/+1 counter to draw, as well as Hunger of the Howlpack and Corpsejack Menace. Invisible Stalker has the potential to get really big. It also helps to have Strangleroot and Cloudfin Raptor who will be the two creatures I us the most to move +1/+1 counters onto Invisible Stalker

I have a simic deck also, I personally like more undying. I added cards like Vorapede and young wolf. Fathom mage and Master Biomancer are great cards to make the deck faster and add more counters. Here is my Simic Deck.
