Deck discussion for test infect

I've made an infect deck myself and had time to play test it against other decks. From my tests, I feel the best way is to try to defeat the opponent in the fastest way possible or to go with powerful middle game threats that will destroy the opponent's creatures with ease.

What kind of infect deck are you making right now?

Just trying to get 10 poison counters on an opponent ASAP. I figure the best way to go about doing that, is by adding Behind the Scenes, to give all my creatures Skulk. If I can't get that out, then Nissa can potentially give me counters on my creatures, increasing their potency.

I tried looking for cheap spells that buff my creatures power/toughness, but couldn't find much. I'll have to look into other enchantments to try and get other keywords onto them, if I can find any that work with the deck. The stuff in the sideboard is just stuff that I'm playing with right now. It'd be nice to get those Blightwidows in there, but I don't know what to take out for it.

In that case you might want to splash blue for cards like Distortion Strike and Blighted Agent. They avoid being blocked and if paired with a pump up spell, it could be for lethal. If you don't like such a high cost then maybe you could have cards that give your creatures trample such as Rancor and Predator's Strike.

In my infect deck, I included copies of:
Vines of Vastwood
Mutagenic Growth
Groundswell
Might of Old Krosa
Wild Defiance
These cards with the exception of Wild Defiance cost only one or two mana while pumping up the creature by +2 or +4.

I hope this comment was helpful!

Oh, and by the way, what search engine did you use for finding the cards? I usually use MTG gatherer.

I would like to at least try to keep to just black/green, but I'll try splashing some blue in there from time to time. I was thinking about adding Crumbling Ashes to the deck and replacing Murders, then adding a Primal Rage or two for Trample. Wild Defiance looks really nice, and if I don't add it to this deck, it'll fit nicely in another deck I want to make.

The Gatherer is a godsend, that's where I've been searching for cards. I've been searching for terms that I feel would go with the deck, but haven't gotten around to looking through all the cheap buffs yet. I was more specifically looking for cards that pumped all creatures, but it didn't look like there was too many in the two colours I'm trying to use. What I did find is in the sideboard right now, and I'm at least pleased with that.

I'll definitely consider those cards, but it'd be hard to try and squeeze those in, as well as the other ones that I've found. If they don't make it into this deck, they'll definitely make their way into another one that I have in mind. Thanks!
