Explain how Izzet Guildmage + Lava Spike + Desperate Ritual makes infinite damage please! If it is cast one desperate Ritual to copy Lava spike then you only get one more lava spike. If you try to use it to copy Desperate Ritual (which by the way is an Instant and not a Sorcery) then you need 2 other and 1 blue. Either way that is three mana and Desperate Ritual only makes 3 mana. There for it does not make infinite. Or at least that is my understanding of how guildmage works. It is 3 mana per single copy.
