I was just fooling around and wishing I had a better discard deck than my Rat/Discard deck that I posted earlier. So, with that being said, I\'m going to make my own deck at post it, even though I don\'t own the cards. Oh well. The objective here is, of course, get out as many Megrim\'s as possible and just play the cards, because they all have discard effects. **I do realize that this isn\'t the best discard deck, so throw me some advice to help me make it the best, please!**

Not even close and to think this is a deck containing cards you don't own! You chose ravenous rats over hypnotic specter for shame! First lesson in discard 101 if your opponent is top decking they can't discard and megrim becomes completely worthless. So to correct this problem out with Megrim in with The Rack. Second spells with casting cost of 3 or more will be played as early as turn 3+ by this time any attempts to stop an aggro deck are shot. So mindstab gone, coercion gone, unnerve gone.

Use multi-purpose cards like consult the Necrosages instead of unnerve. And here is a suggestion get rid of bottemless pit. A really good card would be gibbering descent it does more than sit there plus combine that with Necrosages and your opponent won't get a chance to skip an upkeep.
gibbering decent is a good idea, use venarian glimmer to discard the opponants biggest threats. and as to using the rack vs. megrim i say USE BOTH!!!!! right? either one can be a win condition and if you got out one of each you would win within a few turns
also your mana base is bad you have WAAAAAY more black than blue so add up the mana symbols, do a proportion and fix ur mana
Yeah, you're right, iseektruth89. I didn't think this would be so hard, haha. Anyways, thanks for the comments, y'all.
i think you should listen to them but yeah rack is only one mana why not increase your chances of getting it???
also you could get couple racklings too those little guys are nasty!
hmm. lots of comments here, would like it if someone commented on my deck :) I need suggestions. This deck looks pretty good, please use your collective intellect to make this one better: "Discard Fest" BWU: http://www.mtgvault.com/viewdeck.php?did=5643 Discard, control, bounce, and Auramancers to grab stuff, keeps opponent's hand up and keeps the damage going with Forced Fruition. Sorry don't mean to be jacking attention from this deck, i just wanted some people to check out how mine compares
UUUHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Use Gatherer or SOMETHING!!!!!
this deck is good but if the opponent has no hand its completely useless, add in underworld dream, or something like that mind rot and duress is good, maybe a must have, get blue cards that make your opponent draw cards, kami of the crescent moon is a must have
GET LILIANAS CARESS A MEGRIM THAT COSTS 1 LESS
I might be an idiot but id say howling mine's whould be nice here. so meny stuff that are dependant to ur opponent to draw cards so why not increese the pace ? ^^ alsow megrim is a bit outdated and lilianas caress should replace it. dont think u need the ravernus rats anymore aswell so maybe gett something cheap to help u survive a little? drudge skeletons or reasembling skeletonsmight be nice ( or u could go for vampire shaman wich has a nice range of uses with flying, lifelink and deathtouch ;) any way gr8 tips here for my own discard deck cheers everyone!
Nice Deck.. If you have a chance check out my thopter deck thanks
Liliana's caress is one less mana than megrim. Also swamp island cards that discard should have both players cycle th r ought their deck. It's a double edge sword but for megrim and waste not it is a fair strategy.
