Deck discussion for Vampro

Awesome base to a Vampire deck. Used to run these guys back in Worldwake block in Standard.

Only things I'd add?

As of Zendikar Block?

+3 Pulse Tracker. Freaking awesome One dropper.
+3 Vampire Nighthawk. Flying, Deathtouch, Lifelink for three? Sign me up!
+2 Feast of Blood. You run Vamps? You run FoB.
+1 Urge to Feed. Awesome pump of +1/+1's.
+2 Blade of the Bloodchief. For Vamps, awesome artifact.

Seems to me you also wanna go Black-Red with newer Stromkirk Captain. take out the 4 mountains for Dragonskulls, you'll be set. Most of the newer Vamps are nothing quite compared to the Zendikar ones, in my opinion.... too high CMC. But Innistrad block brought great supportive spells. Like Tragic Slip.

Awesome base. I hope you'll progress further with this deck. Vamps were (and are still) a favorite of mine to play.

Thanks for the advice! Although it's really good advice, it's also quite expensive advice ;]
Otherwise I would have added the dragonskulls, but one can dream eh? Perhaps one day I will accumulate all of the cards needed for a supreme vampire deck! Mwahah.

Vampire Nighthawk is probably one of my favourite cards of all time, it's just a crazy card for a low mana cost. mmmf.

Blade of the bloodchief is a card i've seen used before, but never actually gotten round to buying a playset, though I agree, it does looks pretty nifty.

Pulse tracker - agreed.
Feast of blood - agreed.
Urge to feed - agreed.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Although they reprinted the dual lands, they are expensive, since they reinforce these dual mana decks. Mainly only in EDH do I like to limit my colors, otherwise, colors really could use the extra support given of a second one to start crunching the board. Though I really like Vamps mono black, the red ones like Falkenrath Aristocrat, Stromkirk captain, and Stromkirk Noble have given them a wider range of fire to have fun with (That being said, most of the Innistrad block vamps are crazy on CMC. Even if some of them have Undying). With Return to Ravinca coming up soon, I wonder what else awaits. Ravinca was a simply amazing set, personally. It had many good supportive cards, and one of my favorite, the terribly broken Golgari Grave Troll. Ohh... Dredge may be one of the best keywords in Magic thus far. But we'll definitely see some good black cards in Return to Ravinca.
