Hi, I suggest going mono black because I think it's not really worth it to smuggle in red just for some creature burn. With a zombies deck you'll anyways have the board control plus they are really resilient. This is just a suggestion, do as you like and most of all, enjoy it :)

You are probably right. I have mono black completed, but I've been playing around with splashing red because of how many vehicles/ aetherworks marvel/torrential gearhulk are local. Just wanted a better answer. Also wanted to try out cut//ribbons, think it's one of the best cards in standard. It's probably not right, but I'm playtesting it.
I do appreciate the feedback! Any advice on how to deal with the pesky artifacts other tha. Dispossess?
Of course, it really depends on your local meta and your budget (mostly on lands). Have tried out the minicombo Doomed Dissenter + Plague Belcher? I am taking as a reference a standard deck mtggoldfish has on it's Youtube channel, I suggest you to check it out. Most of all I am just giving out ideas that may or may not be of use, so do whatever you want :) I hope the deck runs well.
