The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

The goal is to get isochron scepter out, imprinting final fortune, then using the sundial to continuosly exile its "lose" trigger from the stack, giving you infinite turns

How to Play

this made the hotlist!

The decks sole purpose is to drop an isochron scepter imprinted with final fortune. then use sundials effect to exile the "lose trigger" off of the stack, so you can have infinite turns.

I am looking for new ways to assemble the combo, any help is appreciated!

Deck discussion for Infinite Turns!

Nice combo. What turn does it usually happen?

Hey thanks! If I draw it right I can get off turn 4. I'm thinking of adding in some birds of paradise and noble heirach to pop it turn 3!

This is pretty good! I would drive my friend insane with this, cause a lot of times he depends on stalling so his darksteel reactor can win for him...I usually kill him before that happens anyway, but still.

the Sundial of the infinite exiles triggers off of the stack, so at the end of your extra turn you can stop yourself from losing

Type your deck name...So turn two you play isochron scepter, then imprint final fortune. Turn three you play Sundial of the infinite. ont urn 4 youu use isochron scepter to play a copy of final fortune. on your extra turn you play another copy of final fortune, to take a second extra turn. during the first extra turns endstep final forunes "lose the game" will trigger onto the stack. pay {1} to acxtivate sundial of the infinite, which will immediatly end the turn and exile the "lose" trigger off of the stack. then repeat on your next extra turn, forever

Very interesting. I like the use of final fortune here, and I had no idea that you could use sundial like that. I knew that it ended the turn, but I didn't know that it removed all triggers from the stack. I thought that they all went off instead of getting exiled. Learn something new every day. :)

Yea its an odd rule, but it an odd card too, the triggered ability is "exiled" according to the rules text, so you can pay 1 to not lose every extra turn!

That is pretty awesome. :) the funny thing is that at one point (a really long the ago) I think that I was considering a deck similar to this but I came to the wrong conclusion about sundial. New I feel really dumb... LOL. :)

Type your deck name...I had to go to the Magic judge forum to figure this out, the rules text on the card is odd, but it works! i pulled it once at a local legacy tournament. i only won one round, but i went 1-2 a bunch, (it was only 5 rounds) i was happy that i got this off multiple times that night, and did just get a couple god hands which helped
