Halo Hunter says, when it enters play, destroy an angel. Baneslayer has protection from demons, but it doesn't say, Halo Hunter destroys a demon, it just a general destroy. Does the Baneslayer die? Thanks!

Can Halo Hunter's ability kill baneslayer?

Halo Hunter says "destroy target Angel." Since Baneslayer has protection from demons, it cannot be targeted by a demon's effect, so Halo Hunter cannot destroy it. Halo Hunter will have to destroy a different Angel, or if there are no other Angels, the effect will have no possible targets and it will fizzle.
