I would like to first say that I play magic casually, though I do know a lot about the Modern/Legacy decks. I like to find a card and make a deck around it, or make a deck around a common theme, usually on a decently low budget. This time I found the card "Dreams of the Dead" and decided to make a deck around it!The main idea is to play Dreams of the Dead and Eon Hub to bring back creatures from your graveyard without having to worry about the Cumulative Upkeep costs! Depending on the situation depends on what card to bring back from the graveyard.
So again, play Dreams of the Dead and Eon Hub to return creatures from your graveyard for no drawbacks! In order to tutor for the two cards, I put in Lim-Dul's Vault and Rhystic Tutor, but you can use other tutors if you want, these two are cheap money-wise, so I run these. Frantic Search, Careful Study, and Tolarian Winds all help to both put creatures into your graveyard for Dreams of the Dead as well as search for the needed cards.As for what creatures I run, Angel of Serenity and Blazing Archon helps a lot against creature decks, and Angel of Despair/Ashen Rider are just good cards against any deck to destroy their best permanent. Rune-Scarred Demon is good to tutor for whichever card you might need from the deck. Magister Sphinx helps against life gain decks or can even put you back up to ten health if needed. Sphinx and Vish are for the lifelink and are good in general.I didn't fix the land base too much, so you could put whatever you want in for the lands if you have some of the better blue/black lands.
